What’s included in a 100×150 steel building kit, and what items are typically outside the kit scope?
A TruSteel 100×150 red-iron steel building kit arrives with county-stamped building and foundation plans, bolt-up primary and secondary framing, 26- or 24-ga roof and wall panels, full trim, closures, all fasteners, and delivery—and, when requested, install crew scheduling. Concrete, grading, electrical, utilities, and permits stay outside the kit.
A 100×150 steel building kit from TruSteel Buildings puts 15,000 sq ft under roof fast. Each red iron steel building kit ships from an IAS-accredited manufacturer with county-specific stamped building and foundation plans, 100 % steel primary and secondary framing, and 26 ga screw-down or 24 ga standing-seam roof and wall panels. Complete trim, closures, and all bolts and screws arrive on one truck, and the pre-cut, bolt-up steel building kit typically erects in two to three weeks with our installer network. Delivery and a 30-year manufacturer’s warranty are also included.
What’s not in the base kit?
You handle site prep, the concrete slab and anchor-bolt placement, permits, and utilities. Roll-up doors, walk doors, windows, gutters, R-19/R-13 insulation, liner panels, mezzanines, and HVAC or electrical systems are optional upgrades quoted case-by-case. Interior partitions, fire sprinklers, finishes, and any tenant build-out stay with your general contractor.
By separating the engineered shell from fit-out costs, you control scope and budget while still getting a code-ready, storm-resistant structure that can flex for warehouse, aircraft hangar, or climate-controlled storage use.
